About as traditional as you can get, our Overcast Moccasin is inspired by camping and hunting moccasins used by loggers, hunters, and fishermen in the 1930's-1940's. With a traditional moccasin construction, and hand punched 360 lace, with no eyelets, these are raw beauty. We are sure this will be the most comfortable moc you will ever wear. With an upper made of sand suede tanned in the southwestern US with a layer of midsole foam provide supreme cushioning and comfort. The lasted shoe is then handsewn and wrapped 360 degrees in natural Havea Crepe, which one of the most comfortable outsole materials used in footwear. This is a soling option that we at New England Outerwear have become known for as one of our signature styles. This entire process is done step by step by the same individual. You cannot get any more "hand made" than this.
